A Utopia Story (2025)
A Utopia Story is another interdisciplinary performance piece that acts in a very similar realm to Displacement. The piece riffs off of several of the same aesthetic and theoretical touchstones. It consists of three performers, a tech desk, two projectors, a collage, and a music station. The piece was developed from September 2024 to March 2025, and it was performed in March at The Kings Arms Theatre in Salford. It explores themes of Utopia, Utopianism, the tangible legacies of colonialism, and the interaction between music and performance.
I created this piece in collaboration with Manchester based musician Dan Gribbin.
Details about this show, and a 'tour pack' can be found on the 'Touring' section of my website.

Displacement (2025)
Displacement is an interdisciplinary performance piece I began developing in Lincoln at the end of 2023. It has been performed at Lincoln Arts Centre in 2024 and at the Camden Peoples Theatre in March 2025. In many ways this piece worked to establish many of the aesthetic and critical touchstones that underpin my work in 2025. The piece consists of 4 performers, a tech desk, a camera and a tech desk. The piece engages with themes of adaptation and displacement (as the title suggests). It explores themes of transience, obsession and Shakespeare, and it works to create an intertextual ecosystem in a dramatic space.

Chet Baker to play us out (2025)
Chet Baker to play us out is a performance lecture developed and performed in Spring 2025. It unpacks some of the key foundational tenets that underly my practice, whilst also acting in dialogue with 'Chet Baker Live at Ronnie Scott's' The piece reflects on some of the work I have made and questions where my work might be going. It considers the things I lean on, and the things I'm bored of, and questions what it means for me to navigate my own personal history and the work I make.
This piece is a traversal, a lecture, a screening, an attempt to navigate and articulate.
